Specifics
This soft and skin-friendly under-rug is perfect for horses with sensitive skin. The under-rug comes with a neck section that is also lined with faux rabbit fur. The neck section has been designed to avoid adding extra pressure at the withers. It fastens with a double Velcro closure. The rug's shape is easy to combine with other rugs and can therefore be adapted to your horse's needs.

Fabrics and materials
The outer layer of this skin-friendly rug is made of polyester microfiber. The yarn in this fabric has been sanded to create a cotton-like feel. The rug's lining is our popular faux rabbit fur. Faux rabbit fur is very comfortable for your horse, especially for horses with sensitive skin or clipped horses. The lining provides an extra insulating layer to retain your horse's body heat and gives the coat a subtle sheen. The 150g fiberfill offers the same benefits as down, but unlike down, it doesn't absorb odors.

Shape and size
The under-blanket is slightly shorter than other blankets to prevent moisture absorption. Thanks to the faux rabbit fur, the mat always returns to its original position. The polyester microfiber ensures the mat stays in place better than other blankets. The mat closes with a front zipper combined with a hook-and-loop fastener. Two D-rings on the back are designed for attaching a tail cord. The neck closure is different, using double Velcro.

Maintenance guide
For best performance, it is recommended to wash the skin-friendly underblanket once a month (machine washable at 30°C). Do not tumble dry after washing.
