Fabrics and materials The outer layer of this skin-friendly rug is made of polyester microfiber. The yarn in this fabric has been polished to create a cotton-like feel. The rug's lining is our popular faux rabbit fur. The 150g fiber filling offers the same benefits as down, but unlike down, it doesn't absorb odors. The faux rabbit fur is very comfortable for your horse, especially for horses with sensitive skin or those that have been clipped. The lining provides an extra insulating layer to retain your horse's body heat and gives the coat a subtle sheen.
