Instructions – Airbag Lanyard

The lanyard connects the airbag to the saddle strap and is included with each airbag.

It connects directly to the piston via a ball-key system, which triggers the CO₂ cartridge in the event of a fall. Each airbag comes with the lanyard already installed: simply attach the carabiner to the saddle strap to use it (see tab above).

The lanyard is equipped with a carabiner at one end and a ball-key at the other. The ball-key is positioned on the firing pin and keeps the mechanical system under tension. Once on horseback, the carabiner must be attached to the metal ring of the saddle strap.

Important notice:
Only attach the carabiner to the saddle strap. Attaching it to any other part of the saddle could prevent the airbag from deploying in the event of a fall. Also ensure that the lanyard cannot wrap around any part of the saddle.
