Particularities The Classic outdoor rug is perfect for everyday use in the paddock or pasture. Depending on your horse's needs, the rug is available in four different versions: 0g, 50g, 150g or 300g. The rug is weather-resistant thanks to its waterproof and dirt-repellent coating. The materials of this rug are lightweight and offer a perfect fit for maximum comfort.
Fabrics and materials The Classic 50g outdoor rug is made from a 600D ripstop polyester outer layer with a breathable waterproof coating. This construction makes the rug highly tear-resistant. The rug lining is a smooth, antibacterial 210T polyester. This lining is easy to care for as it doesn't smell and hair doesn't stick to it. The filling is made of PES fibres. The fibre filling performs as well as down, creating an insulating layer around your horse. The combination of these materials keeps your horse dry in all weather conditions.
Shape and size The classic waterproof blanket has no seams on the back of the blanket, which prevents the risk of leaks. For extra warmth, you can use this blanket with a underblanket, such as the classic underblanket. In case your horse needs extra protection, a detachable neck cover can be purchased separately. The finishes are in Kentucky style: the blanket has 2 brass and stainless steel front closures, combined with a strong self-adhesive closure, two surcingles and a detachable tail cord.
Maintenance guide The classic outdoor cover can be washed at 30°. To keep the cover waterproof, we recommend applying a new waterproof layer after washing it more than five times.
