Special Features The classic turnout rug is perfect for everyday use in the paddock or pasture. Depending on your horse's needs, the rug is available in four different weights: 0g, 50g, 150g, or 300g. Thanks to its waterproof and dirt-resistant coating, the rug is weather-resistant. The lightweight materials provide a perfect fit for maximum comfort.
Fabrics and materials The Classic 0g Turnout Rug is made from a 600D ripstop polyester outer with a breathable, waterproof coating. This construction makes the rug highly tear-resistant. The rug's lining is a smooth, antibacterial 210T polyester. This lining is easy to care for as it is odor-resistant and hair-resistant. The combination of these materials keeps your horse dry in all weather conditions.
Shape and size The classic waterproof blanket has no seams at the back, preventing leaks. For added warmth, you can use this blanket with an under-blanket, such as the classic under-blanket. Should your horse require extra protection, a detachable neck cover can be purchased separately. The finishing touches are in the Kentucky style: the blanket has two front closures in brass and stainless steel, combined with a sturdy hook-and-loop fastener, two surcingles, and a detachable tail cord.
Maintenance guide The classic outdoor cover can be washed at 30°C. To maintain its waterproofness, we recommend applying a new waterproofing layer after washing it more than five times. Do not tumble dry the cover.
